 Horizons Meals on Wheels programs are designed to improve the nutritional health of the area's elderly population and prevent their malnutrition. Volunteers and drivers who make deliveries to these seniors provide safety checks, as well as emotional and social support that is severely lacking in this group.
Daily and weekend deliveries of hot meals are provided throughout Cedar Rapids, rural Linn, Benton and Jones counties.
Congregate meals are provided daily in Belle Plaine, Marengo, and Victor, weekly in Amana and Norway.
Meals on Wheels…more than just a meal.
